🌿 ANSWER: If you're in a situation where you're fasting but you don't have access to any food or water, like maybe stuck in the middle of the highway, and it's time to break your fast, what should one do? How would you break your fast? Well, in such situations you break your fast with your INTENTION. 📌That's because the Prophet Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam said: “Actions are but by intention and each person will have but that which he intended.” (al-Bukhaari and Muslim) You see, in our Deen, if a person forms a firm intention to stop doing an act of worship while he is doing it, it becomes invalid. 📌 "The one who forms the intention to break the fast has broken the fast." (Zaad al-Mustanqi) So next time if you're stuck someplace where there's no food or water available and it's maghrib time, you just make the firm intention that you're NOT fasting any more and WOULD HAVE eaten or drank SOME thing, had it been available. 🔺 Side note: Do keep a few dates with you handy in a plastic bag in your purse or in the car, etc during Ramadhaan, just in case! And Allaah knows best.
